Para ello, se crearon 6 tipos distintos de laxitud ligamentosa (lcm, lcl, lca, lcp, lcm+lca y lca+lcp) en la rodilla derecha de 36 conejos de la raza nueva zelanda. La rodilla izquierda se utilizo como valor control. Los animales fueron repartidos en 6 grupos incluyendose 6 animales en cada tipo de lesion ligamentosa. A los 3 meses de la intervencion, los animales fueron sacrificados, procediendose al estudio macroscopico y microscopico, comparativo, de la musculatura de sendas extremidades pelvianas. Los resultados obtenidos fueron analizados estadisticamente. La valoracion de los resultados indico que la evolucion de la musculatura no es homogenea y varia en funcion del tipo de lesion ligamentosa instaurada. La evolucion de la musculatura periarticular, en estos animales, se explicaria en terminos de adaptacion biologica de la laxitud, para compensar el deficit ligamentoso.
