El estudio est\u00e1 estructurado en dos grandes secciones: el material an\u00f3dico y cat\u00f3dico. Se han analizado aspectos fundamentales de la preparaci\u00f3n de \u00e1nodos de dioxido de plomo y la influencia de un campo de ultrasonidos. Como resultado se ha optimizado un m\u00e9todo de preparaci\u00f3n de dichos electrodos protegido bajo patente. El estudio del material cat\u00f3dico. Se ha centrado en la caracterizaci\u00f3n de un material poroso (fieltro de carb\u00f3n) para ser utilizado como electrodo tridimensional analizando sus propiedades f\u00edsicas, geom\u00e9tricas, comportamiento hidrodin\u00e1mico y transporte de materia hacia el electrodo.  los resultados de esta secci\u00f3n fueron la optimizaci\u00f3n de dicho electrodo, que junto con el comportamiento del
