Se entiende que el autoconcepto es una variable fundamental en el desarrollo personal y social de los sujetos.  los resultados del trabajo pueden analizarse desde una doble perspectiva: por un lado, se aporta, a la comunidad cient\u00edfica y a los profesionales de la evaluaci\u00f3n psicopedagogia, un instrumento para la evaluaci\u00f3n del autoconcepto, original, s\u00f3lido, validado en lengua espa\u00f1ola y basado en el modelo de shavelson. Y, por otro lado, se pone de manifiesto que los alumnos con necesidades educativas especiales se diferencian de forma significativa de los alumnos sin problemas, adem\u00e1s de por sus dificultades para aprender o por la pertenencia a una categor\u00eda diagn\u00f3stica, por unos bajos niveles de juicio cr\u00edtico sobre s\u00ed mismos, por unos bajos niveles de autoconcepto y por su
