Jose <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Es una t\u00e9cnica bien conocida en homotop\u00eda estable la localizaci\u00f3n asociada a una teor\u00eda de homolog\u00eda o, equivalentemente, a la subcategor\u00eda localizante generada por el objeto que la representa. Este teorema de existencia fue probado por bousfield en 1979. El presente trabajo aborda la demostraci\u00f3n del resultado an\u00e1logo para las categor\u00edas derivadas de una categor\u00eda de grothendieck (es decir, abeliana, con generador y l\u00edmites directos filtrantes exactos) y la obtenci\u00f3n de algunas aplicaciones.  en el primer cap\u00edtulo se realiza una exposici\u00f3n de los conceptos que se van a emplear: categor\u00edas triangulares, categor\u00edas homot\u00f3pica y derivada asociadas a una categor\u00eda abeliana, sus subcategor\u00edas gruesas y funtores derivados. El segundo trata del concepto general de localizaci\u00f3n en categor\u00edas triangulares y de la noci\u00f3n de subcategor\u00eda localizante.  a continuaci\u00f3n se define el concepto de l\u00edmite directo homot\u00f3pico en categor\u00edas de complejos. Se comprueba que la construcci\u00f3n es isomorfa al l\u00edmite directo usual en la categor\u00eda derivada y, en el caso en que el conjunto filtrante es bien ordenado y los morfismos del sistema semirrotos, tambi\u00e9n es isomorfa en la categor\u00eda homot\u00f3pica. Esto permite probar que las subcategor\u00edas localizantes son cerradas para los l\u00edmites directos (filtrantes) usuales.  en el cap\u00edtulo 4 se demuestra la existencia de localizaci\u00f3n en categor\u00edas homot\u00f3picas siguiendo un m\u00e9todo pr\u00f3ximo al original de bousfield. Como consecuencia, se obtienen las resoluciones q-proyectivas en la categor\u00eda homot\u00f3pica de m\u00f3dulos sobre un anillo o, m\u00e1s generalmente, q-plana en la categor\u00eda homot\u00f3pica de haces de m\u00f3dulos sobre un espacio anillado.
