Angeles <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La tesis comprende tres volumenes. El primero de ellos es el cuerpo del estudio, estructurado en ocho capitulos que abordan la actividad musical en la catedral malague\u00f1a en todos sus detalles: capilla de musica, coro de canto llano, caracteristicas y circunstancias economicas de los musicos, etc. Un apartado importante se dedica al estudio de la vida y obra de jaime torrens, que fue maestro de capilla entre 1770 y 1803. El analisis de su obra se basa en datos deducidos del catalogo completo, asi como en una seleccion de sus villancicos, que son transcritos y comentados detalladamente.  el volumen ii contiene el catalogo de las obras de torrens, distintas clasificaciones de sus villancicos, notas biograficas de los musicos de la catedral de malaga y bibliografia.  el volumen iii incluye un extenso apendice documental (organizado en cinco apartados) y la transcripcion musical de las obras analizadas.
