El autor plantea y desarrolla la tesis de un sorolla in\u00e9dito: un sorolla intimista o introspectivo, delicado, discreto, melanc\u00f3lico y amante de la quietud frente al sorolla \u00abde siempre\u00bb, pero dentro de \u00e9ste y sin dejar de serlo. Estas consideraciones particulares llevan al autor a una nueva consideraci\u00f3n general del pintor, ampliaci\u00f3n de la tesis propuesta: la complejidad, densidad y profundidad de la obra de sorolla, complejidad, densidad y profundidad tan considerables, a su juicio, como para \u00abdemoler\u00bb o dejar sin efecto los t\u00f3picos sobre su facilidad y superficialidad vigentes hasta
