Carmen <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Para la utilizaci\u00f3n de microorganismos manipulados gen\u00e9ticamente en el medio ambiente ser\u00eda deseable controlar su supervivencia en dicho h\u00e1bitat. Los sistemas activos de contenci\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica permiten controlar la expresi\u00f3n de una funci\u00f3n letal a trav\u00e9s de un sistema regulador que responda a se\u00f1ales externas del medio. En este trabajo se ha construido un sistema modelo de contenci\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica asociado a la degradaci\u00f3n de arom\u00e1ticos. Para la construcci\u00f3n de este sistema se han utilizado dos genes de lisis diferentes: el gen gef de e.  coli y el gen e del falgo phix174. El sistema activo de contenci\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica fue funcional tanto en e. Coli como en p. Putida. En ambos casos, la inducci\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n del gen de lisis condujo a la muerte celular.  en p. Putida, tras la expresi\u00f3n del gen de lisis, se produce una disminuci\u00f3n del n\u00famero de c\u00e9lulas viables, una liberaci\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas al medio, un eflujo de 86 rb+ y las c\u00e9lulas aparecen vacias al observarlas al microscopio electr\u00f3nico de transmisi\u00f3n.
