En esta tesis se estudi\u00f3 el aislamiento de actinomicetos a partir de invertebrados y algas marinas.  dentro de los actinomicetos, en esta tesis se realiz\u00f3 un estudio m\u00e1s pormenorizado de las cepas pertenecientes a la familia micromonosporaceae.  las cepas de micromonospor\u00e1ceas aisladas se analizaban para estudiar su posible actividad antitumoral. Una de estas cepas produc\u00eda un nuevo macr\u00f3lido con actividad antitumoral. Esta cepa se caracteriz\u00f3 taxon\u00f3mica y filogen\u00e9ticamente y result\u00f3 ser una nueva especie, que se denomin\u00f3 micromonospora luedemannii.  como sistema de clasificaci\u00f3n, se puso a punto un sistema automatizado basado en el an\u00e1lisis cuantitativo de la composici\u00f3n de az\u00facares celulares analizados por cromatograf\u00eda de
