Esperanza <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Este trabajo tiene como objeto el an\u00e1lisis de la actitud que una serie de autores jud\u00edos medievales mantienen hacia el islam y lo isl\u00e1mico y del modo en que, a partir de esa confontaci\u00f3n construyen la identidad de la comunidad jud\u00eda. Se centra en una selecci\u00f3n de las obras fundamentales, tanto en \u00e1rabe como en hebreo, que se escribieron en al-andalus y en la espa\u00f1a cristiana entre los ss. Xi y xii.  consta de cuatro cap\u00edtulos, cada uno de los cuales reconstruye una narrativa de creaci\u00f3n de la identidad jud\u00eda por oposici\u00f3n al islam: 1. La lengua y los modelos intelectuales; 2. La pol\u00e9mica y la apolog\u00eda religiosas; 3.
