Dichas poliimidas se han caracterizado completamente, midiendo sus espectros de infrarrojo, propiedades termicas (temperatura de transici\u00f3n vitrea, temperatura de descomposici\u00f3n), propiedades mecanicas (modulo de young, resistencia a la tracci\u00f3n, alargamiento a rotura), propiedades dinamomecanicas (relajaciones y, temperatura y energia de activaci\u00f3n de la relajaci\u00f3n) y solubilidad en varios disolventes organicos. Seis de estas poliimidas, obtenidas por ciclodeshidrataci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica, son solubles en disolventes organicos convencionales, de modo que se pudieron caracterizar tambi\u00e9n por ensayos en disoluci\u00f3n (medidas de viscosidad, peso molecular y resonancia magnetica nuclear), y a partir de ellas se prepararon peliculas finas que se han ensayado como membranas de separaci\u00f3n frente a
