En el presente trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n se ha realizado el estudio de la purificaci\u00f3n, por adsorci\u00f3n sobre resinas de intercambio i\u00f3nico (iec) e interacci\u00f3n hidrof\u00f3bica (hic), de la alfa-amilasa de aspergillus oryzae mediante una metodolog\u00eda secuencial en tres sistemas experimentales diferentes: hplc, tanque agitado discontinuo y, finalmente, lecho fijo. Se ha determinado la influencia de las condiciones de operaci\u00f3n (ph, temperatura, fuerza i\u00f3nica) en el proceso de adsorci\u00f3n. El dise\u00f1o y optimaci\u00f3n de procesos biotecnol\u00f3gicos requieren el uso de modelos matem\u00e1ticos que permitan predecir el comportamiento de cada una de las etapas que lo componen.  en el presente trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n se ha aplicado el m\u00e9todo de los momentos a los resultados experimentales obtenidos en hplc para determinar los par\u00e1metros cin\u00e9ticos (coef. Dispersi\u00f3n axial y de difusi\u00f3n en los poros) y termodin\u00e1micos (constante de adsorci\u00f3n, entalp\u00eda y entrop\u00eda de adsorci\u00f3n, etc.) Que rigen el proceso. Para los sistemas de tanque agitado y lecho fijo se ha estudiado la influencia de las variables de operaci\u00f3n y se han propuesto modelos matem\u00e1ticos m\u00e1s rigurosos que tienen en cuenta las etapas de transferencia de materia externa y la difusi\u00f3n del adsorbato en el interior de las part\u00edculas de adsorbente, caracterizadas por los coeficientes de difusi\u00f3n externa y de difusi\u00f3n en los poros respectivamente. Se ha demostrado que ambos modelos predicen adecuadamente el comportamiento de los procesos de adsorci\u00f3n de alfa-amilasa en resinas de hic e iec.
