Asimismo, se analizan diferentes aspectos relacionados con la regulaci\u00f3n de los mercados de valores y la protecci\u00f3n del inversor. Todo ello se enmarca dentro del debate conceptual y metodol\u00f3gico entre las nociones de \u00abprotecci\u00f3n individual\u00bb y \u00abprotecci\u00f3n funcional\u00bb del inversor.  el objeto central del estudio son las normas de conducta y, especialmente, aquellas que rigen la relaci\u00f3n contractual entre los inversores y los diferentes tipos de intermediarios.  as\u00ed, se estudian las normas de conducta \u00absustantivas\u00bb, dirigidas a lograr la consecuci\u00f3n de una conducta leal y diligente por parte del intermediario, as\u00ed como las normas \u00abinstrumentales u
