En la primera parte, a trav\u00e9s de una introducci\u00f3n y cinco cap\u00edtulos se analizan aspectos como la influencia de la naturaleza, condicionantes geogr\u00e1ficos y est\u00e9ticos, y al hinduismo como generador de la imagen de culto y el culto a la imagen hind\u00fa. Tambi\u00e9n se analiza la vida cotidiana y la influencia de la espiritualidad hind\u00fa en sus esculturas diarias. En la segunda parte se catalogan las esculturas atendiendo a su funci\u00f3n, iconograf\u00eda, mitolog\u00eda, etc., Y la formaci\u00f3n de las colecciones donde se encuentran.
