Despolarizaciones repetidas provocadas por inyeccion de corriente o por accion sinaptica, indujeron una profunda modificacion de la respuesta celular (habituacion), reversible y caracterizada por un marcado aumento de la adaptacion de la descarga.  esta modificacion afecto las respuestas provocadas tanto por activacion directa como por accion sinaptica, independientemente de la forma de activacion utilizada para su induccion.  nuestros datos sugieren que la habituacion de la respuesta celular involucra exclusivamente a conductancias postsinapticas extrasinapticas y que es debida a la
