Paz <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Aunque la mamograf\u00eda y la ecograf\u00eda son las t\u00e9cnicas radiol\u00f3gicas rutinarias en el diagn\u00f3stico y seguimiento de las lesiones mamarias malignas y benignas, no siempre consiguen realizar un diagn\u00f3stico aproximado a la histolog\u00eda, ofreciendo un considerable porcentaje de resultados no interpretables, fundamentalmente en aquellas mamas que con anterioridad han sido intervenidas quir\u00fargicamente (cirug\u00eda conservadora por ca. De mama).  en este trabajo se plantea la utilidad de la gammagraf\u00eda mamaria tetrofosm\u00edn &#8211; 99mtc (gm), para realizar diagn\u00f3stico de benignidad o malignidad en diferentes grupos de patolog\u00eda mamaria: n\u00f3dulo palpable, mama manipulada y n\u00f3dulos no palpables (microcalcificaciones, mamas densas mamograficamente).  se confirma una elevada rentabilidad diagn\u00f3stica en el grupo de mamas manipuladas (dondemamograf\u00eda y ecograf\u00eda se muestran m\u00e1s inespec\u00edficas), considerando que se debe utilizar la gm como prueba de elecci\u00f3n. En el grupo de pacientes con n\u00f3dulo palpable la gm debe utilizarse siempre que las t\u00e9cnicas radiol\u00f3gicas sean equ\u00edvocas.
