Pilar <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La realizaci\u00f3n de ejercicio produce modificaciones en todos los sistemas del individuo. En el sistema respiratorio estas adaptaciones son de gran importancia y su fin es mantener una buena oxigenaci\u00f3n de los tejidos.  el conocimiento de la cesi\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno a nivel tisular empieza a adquirir en estos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, en el mundo del deporte una relevancia mayor. La oximetr\u00eda transcut\u00e1nea continua es un m\u00e9todo \u00fatil, sencillo y no cruento para el estudio de la evoluci\u00f3n de la saturaci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno perif\u00e9rico durante el ejercicio m\u00e1ximo. Para demostrar esta hip\u00f3tesis se han estudiado treinta y dos deportistas de diferentes especialidades deportivas a los que se ha sometido a una prueba de esfuerzo m\u00e1ximo conjuntamente con un registro oxim\u00e9trico, para posteriormente proceder al estudio en el tiempo de la evoluci\u00f3n de la saturaci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno perif\u00e9rico con los par\u00e1metros ventilatorios obtenidos durante la prueba de esfuerzo m\u00e1xima. Se efectu\u00f3 un an\u00e1lisis estad\u00edstico en el tiempo de las variables medidas, tanto una regresi\u00f3n simple como logar\u00edtmica. Se observ\u00f3 la existencia de una correlaci\u00f3n significativa entre el tiempo de aparici\u00f3n de la desaturaci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno y el tiempo de aparici\u00f3n de los umbrales aer\u00f3bico y anaer\u00f3gico, as\u00ed como una mejora de las correlaciones cuando estos deportistas se clasifican en funci\u00f3n del consumo m\u00e1ximo de ox\u00edgeno.
