El primer volumen se ocupa de la actividad profesional de los plateros y del sistema de marcaje que utilizaron; de la evoluci\u00f3n tipol\u00f3gica y estil\u00edstica que experimentaron las piezas; as\u00ed como de los asuntos iconogr\u00e1ficos que \u00e9stas presentan; tambi\u00e9n estudiamos los aspectos relacionados con la clientela y los precios que alcanzaron dichas obras en relaci\u00f3n a su peso y dificultad de trabajo.
