El objetivo fundamental del presente trabajo se basa en el estudio de los mecanismos de acci\u00f3n de estos p\u00e9ptidos en cerebro. Los resultados obtenidos ponen de manifiesto, entre otros hechos, que las endotelinas son capaces de activar la fosforilaci\u00f3n de dos prote\u00ednas (pl25 fak y pl30cas) en restos de tirosina; este hecho puede dar cuenta de algunas acciones neuromoduladoras de estos p\u00e9ptidos. Por otra parte, en este trabajo tambi\u00e9n se pone de manifiesto el control que las endotelinas ejercen sobre el sistema de amp c\u00edclico, a trav\u00e9s de la potenciaci\u00f3n de la activaci\u00f3n de la enzima adenilil ciclasa, ejercida por distintos agonistas.
