Se han desarrollado diversos modelos matem\u00e1ticos con objeto de predecir los resultados obtenidos experimentalmente, empleando los par\u00e1metros de equilibrio y cin\u00e9ticos determinados en esta misma investigaci\u00f3n. As\u00ed, las isotermas de adsorci\u00f3n se han obtenido mediante experimentos de equilibrio y su ajuste a diferentes ecuaciones, los coeficientes de trasferencia externos se han determinado mediante el ajuste de las curvas cin\u00e9ticas obtenidas en un lecho fijo diferencial a un modelo de control externa, y los coeficientes de difusi\u00f3n interna por ajuste mediante un m\u00e9todo de regresi\u00f3n no lineal de las curvas cin\u00e9ticas obtenidas en tanque agitado, a diversos modelos matem\u00e1ticos desarrollados para este tipo de operaci\u00f3n.  empleando los par\u00e1metros as\u00ed estimados y los programas de c\u00e1lculo desarrollados para la resoluci\u00f3n de los modelos cin\u00e9ticos, se han predicho las curvas de rotura obtenidas experimentalmente en lecho fijo,
