Se intentan desentra\u00f1ar, siguiendo indicaciones, sobre todo, de levinas, derrida y nancy, las diversas manifestaciones de esta confianza o credulidad originarias que la existencia comporta. As\u00ed se descubre su importancia insoslayable en el \u00e1mbito de las relaciones intersubjetivas, en el fen\u00f3meno de la temporalidad, en la comprensi\u00f3n de nuestras posibilidades, en la experiencia de la libertad, en el uso pragm\u00e1tico del lenguaje y en la instituci\u00f3n de toda comunidad. Con todo ello se revela que la existencia, asentada sobre la sola confianza, no hace sino afirmar la condici\u00f3n expuesta y finita que la constituye. S\u00f3lo la finitud puede y debe afirmarse como tal, insistiendo en su ser, y sin buscar cumplimentaci\u00f3n en ning\u00fan trasmundo o utop\u00eda irrealizable. La existencia finita es el \u00fanico reino de los fines que nos es dado. As\u00ed se pone de manifiesto que la tarea cr\u00edtica debe encontrar en la existencia y a favor de ella las condiciones de su ejercicio, sin renegar nunca de su condici\u00f3n finita. De esta manera, la existencia, en su hecho mismo, incorpora ya una dimensi\u00f3n \u00e9tica imborrable. De alg\u00fan modo, la estructura de la existencia contiene ya la forma de un imperativo \u00e9tico que obliga a respetarla en sus condiciones y en sus posibilidades.
