En concreto se definen modelos de vertices a partir de las representaciones nilpotentes de su(2)q que aparezcan para valores del parametro de deformacion que sean una raiz de la unidad se estudian los modelos de cadena abierta en los casos que representaciones con dimensiones mas bajas y se elulcida el significado fisico de los nuevos parametros. Se prueba que de hecho en el caso mas sencillo (un modelo de 6 vertices) la generalizacion de ocho vertices es un modelo de fermiones libres con pesos elipticos muy estudiado en la literatura. Se determina el grupo cuantico que subyace a su integrabilidad, se estudia la cadena abierta invariante asociada, y se diagonaliza la matriz de transferencia \u00abcorner\u00bb.
