Rosa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La dopamina es una catecolamina que act\u00faa como neurotransmisor en el sistema nervioso central en funciones tan importantes como el control motor, la estabilidad emocional y el aprendizaje. En este trabajo hemos determinado la distribuci\u00f3n y expresi\u00f3n de los receptores de la dopamina en la neocorteza de rata. Como primer objetivo produjimos anticuerpos policlonales espec\u00edficos para cada uno de los cinco subtipos de receptores dopamin\u00e9rgicos utilizando p\u00e9ptidos sint\u00e9ticos derivados del tercer segmento intracelular de los receptores dopamin\u00e9rgicos tipo-d2, y del extremo c-terminal de los receptores tipo-d1. En inmunoblots de corteza cerebral de rata el anticuerpo anti-d1 reconoce una banda proteica de 45 kda, anti-d5 una banda de 47 kda, anti-d2 dos bandas, una de 49 kda y otra de 93 kda, anti-d3 una banda de 49 kda y anti-d4 una banda de 41 kda. Estos tama\u00f1os moleculares proteicos coinciden con el tama\u00f1o de los distintos subtipos de receptores dopamin\u00e9rgicos y que se deducen a partir de sus correspondientes secuencias de cdna. Adem\u00e1s, estos anticuerpos fueron capaces de inmunoprecipitan los receptores de dopamina nativos y ensamblados en las membranas celulares de corteza cerebral de rata.  los receptores dopamin\u00e9rgicos de la familia tipo-d1 se expresan homog\u00e9neamente en todas las \u00e1reas corticales de la neocorteza de rata. Dentro de la familia tipo-d1 pudimos observar una expresi\u00f3n m\u00e1s acusada de los receptores d5 que de los receptores d1. Los receptores d5 son expresados por neuronas neocorticales piramidales y por interneuronas. Los estudios de doble marcaje demuestran que una subpoblaci\u00f3n de estas interneuronas dopaminoceptivas son de naturaleza inhibidora gaba\u00e9rgica, lo que proporcina una evidencia directa del papel regulador de estos receptores en la neurotransmisi\u00f3n gaba\u00e9rgica.
