Tambi\u00e9n se estudi\u00f3 la posible alteraci\u00f3n de los resultados de la gammagraf\u00eda paratiroidea por patolog\u00eda tiroidea.  como conclusiones: la gammagraf\u00eda con sestamibi de doble fase es una t\u00e9cnica excelente, con m\u00e1s sensibilidad que la ecograf\u00eda y la tac, y m\u00e1s sensible para la enfermedad uniglandular, que tiene muy buenos resultados en la detecci\u00f3n de gl\u00e1ndulas responsables de persistencia o recurrencia, y en la detecci\u00f3n de gl\u00e1ndulas ect\u00f3picas.  sus resultados no se relacionan con par\u00e1metros anal\u00edticos, morfol\u00f3gicos, citol\u00f3gicos ni con el contenido mitocondrial de las c\u00e9lulas, y pueden mostrar falsos positivos por la existencia de patolog\u00eda tiroidea coexistente
