Se estudia la influencia de las diferentes variables que intervienen en el proceso, determinando as\u00ed las condiciones \u00f3ptimas de trabajo. El efluente es tratado por \u00f3smosis inversa utilizando tres membranas de diferente composici\u00f3n: acetato de celulosa, polietersulfona sulfonada y poliamida arom\u00e1tica. Se estudia el tratamiento de disoluciones espec\u00edficas para cada uno de los solutos, utilizando como alimentaciones disoluciones de sulfato am\u00f3nico, cianuro s\u00f3dico y de acrilonitrilo, y disoluciones complejas en las que las cuatro especies se encuentran presentes. Con los resultados de estos experimentos se selecciona la membrana de poliamida arom\u00e1tica como la m\u00e1s adecuada para el alcance del objetivo propuesto. La \u00faltima parte del trabajo consiste en el ajuste de los datos experimentales, de los tratamientos con dos de las membranas, a un modelo de dise\u00f1o de operaciones de \u00f3smosis inversa,
