El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar test alternativos: cuestionario epidemiol\u00f3gico, determinaciones seriadas de flujo espiratorio m\u00e1ximo, niveles s\u00e9ricos de reactantes de fase aguda y prote\u00edna cati\u00f3nica eosinof\u00edlica. Se llev\u00f3 a cabo un estudio prospectivo aleatorio a lo largo de 1.995 en el area v de salud de asturias, un total de 73 sujetos fueron inclu\u00eddos en el mismo. Para 100% de especificidad, la sensibilidad del cuestionario epidemiol\u00f3gico fue 17%, la de seguimiento de flujo 25% y la de los niveles s\u00e9ricos de reactantes de fase aguda de 13 a 23%. Nuestros hallazgos sugieren que el empleo combinado de todos ellos (74% de sensibilidad), debe tenerse en cuenta, puesto que tiene implicaciones importantes en la pr\u00e1ctica cl\u00ednica diaria
