El objetivo final de estos estudios fue el desarrollo de sensores \u00f3pticos luminiscentes para el control de especies de inter\u00e9s medio ambiental. Como analitos modelo se seleccionaron:  (a) el ox\u00edgeno, que constituye por si mismo una gu\u00eda importante del nivel de contaminaci\u00f3n del agua y para el cual se desarroll\u00f3 un potosensor fosforim\u00e9trico basado en la desactivaci\u00f3n de la luminiscencia de un colorante (isotiocianato de eritrosina b) convenientemente inmovilizado, (b) los tensoactivos ani\u00f3nicos, constituyentes esenciales de los detergentes, para los cuales se optimiz\u00f3 un optosensor basado en el cambio de las caracter\u00edsticas espectrales de una fase sensora (yodo-oxinatos de aluminio) fosforescente a temperatura ambiente (c) un pesticida cumar\u00ednico (warfar\u00edn) para el cual se ha caracterizado una fase sensora cuyo mecanismo de reconocimiento molecular se basa en la formaci\u00f3n de un complejo de inclusi\u00f3n con beta-ciclodextrinas que incrementa el rendimiento cu\u00e1ntico de fluorescencia del analito. Los optosensores propuestos han sido aplicados con \u00e9xito al an\u00e1lisis de los correspondientes analitos en muestras de aguas naturales (r\u00edos, lagos y
