En el primer cap\u00edtulo se recoge un m\u00e9todo que permite obtener alfa-hidroxi- o alfa-aminocetonas, con uno o dos \u00e1tomos de hal\u00f3geno, de forma enantiom\u00e9ricamente pura, a partir de los correspondientes \u00e9steres y compuestos organol\u00edticos alfa-halogenados.  en el segundo cap\u00edtulo se describe la s\u00edntesis altamente diastereoselectiva de alfa-aminoxiranos treo enantiom\u00e9ricamente puros por reducci\u00f3n de 1-aminoalquil clorometil cetonas. La adici\u00f3n de organol\u00edticos alfa-halogenados a alfa-aminoaldeh\u00eddos permite preparar alfa-aminoxiranos eritro tambi\u00e9n con elevadas diastereoselectividades y sin racemizaci\u00f3n. Igualmente se ha puesto a punto una metodolog\u00eda que permite transformar alfa-aminoaldeh\u00eddos, por reacci\u00f3n con clorometilitio, en alilaminas quirales.  en el cap\u00edtulo 3 se estudia la adici\u00f3n de diferentes compuestos organomet\u00e1licos a 1-aminoalquil halometil cetonas. Empleando compuestos organoc\u00e9ricos se puede acceder a 3-azetidinoles y alfa-aminoxiranos 2,2-disustitu\u00eddos enantiom\u00e9ricamente puros con elevada diastereoselecci\u00f3n. Por otra parte, la adici\u00f3n de halometilitio permite preparar 2-(1- aminoalquil)-2-halometiloxiranos enantiom\u00e9ricamente puros de forma regio- y diastereoselectiva. La metodolog\u00eda descrita permite acceder a los dos diastereois\u00f3meros de las 2-(1-aminoal-quil)epiclorhidrinas. Tambi\u00e9n se describe la obtenci\u00f3n de 1,3-aminoal-coholes insaturados quirales en un proceso \u00abone pot\u00bb a partir de 1-ami-noalquil halometil cetonas.  por \u00faltimo, en el cap\u00edtulo 4 se describe la condensaci\u00f3n diastereoselectiva de 1-aminoalquil bromometil cetonas con aldeh\u00eddos y cetonas. La posterior adici\u00f3n de yodometilitio permite preparar diep\u00f3xidos a trav\u00e9s de un proceso \u00abone pot\u00bb en el que se crean diastereoselectivamente tres centros quirales en una
