En este sentido, hemos iniciado una linea de investigacion basada en la caracterizacion de los procesos de regulacion de receptores aclopados a proteinas g, centrandonos en el sistema receptor b-adrenergico-adenilato ciclasa, sobre el que parece actuar una quinasa reguladora especifica denominada baric.  a lo largo de este trabajo hemos intentado responder a dos preguntas basicas: cual es el papel fisiologico de baru? Y donde y como se encuentra baru dentro de la celula?. Para responder a la primera pregunta se ha analizado y confirmado la participacion de baru en dos procesos de desensibilizacion homologa: uno inducido esimulando celulas gliales en cultivo con un agonista b-adrenergico, y otro fistologico que hemos detectado en higado de rata en los primeros minutos postnatales. La segunda cuestion la hemos analizado caracterizando la localizacion subcelular de baru prestando especial atencion a un aspecto desconocido de esta quinasa: su asociacion a membranas
