En particular se aborda la s\u00edntesis de indoles con un determinado patr\u00f3n de sustituci\u00f3n. Asimismo se describen algunas de sus aplicaciones en la iodaci]3n de amino\u00e1cidos que contienen anillos arom\u00e1ticos y en la preparaci\u00f3n de nuevos auxiliares quirales derivados del (-)-8-fenilmentol.  en el cap\u00edtulo 1 se revisa la reactividad del ipy2bf4 en reacciones de funcionalizaci\u00f3n de alquenos y alquinos, as\u00ed como su eficacia en reacciones de iodaci\u00f3n arom\u00e1tica y de creacci\u00f3n de enlaces carbono-carbono.  en el cap\u00edtulo 2 se describe una reacci\u00f3n selectiva de iodaci\u00f3n de aminas arom\u00e1ticas y su utilizaci\u00f3n en la elaboraci\u00f3n de indoles y benzodipirroles por acoplamiento con trimetilsililacetieno y posterior ciclaci\u00f3n promovida por cui. Adem\u00e1s se definen las condiciones experimentales para iodofuncionalizar con rendimientos cuantitativos las posiciones 3- y 2,3- de algunos de los indoles sintetizados.  en el cap\u00edtulo 3 se estudia la reactividad del ipy2bf4 frente a amino\u00e1cidos que contienen anillos arom\u00e1ticos.  as\u00ed mismo se analiza la iodaci\u00f3n selectiva de la tirosina en presencia de otros amino\u00e1cidos que tambi\u00e9n se pueden iodar.  por \u00faltimo, en el cap\u00edtulo 4, se aplica el m\u00e9todo de iodaci\u00f3n arom\u00e1tica basado en el ipy2bf4, a la preparaci\u00f3n a
