Jose <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La estrategia de distribuci\u00f3n se ha convertido hoy d\u00eda en una fuente clave de ventaja competitiva para todo tipo de organizaciones. La raz\u00f3n se encuentra en que las utilidades que proporciona a los clientes est\u00e1n relacionadas de manera incuestionable con el servicio ofrecido al comprador y a\u00f1adido al propio producto. Las empresas industriales han de ser conscientes de las grandes oportunidades competitivas que se les pueden presentar si son capaces de dise\u00f1ar y administrar convenientemente sus sistemas de distribuci\u00f3n. En muchas ocasiones, una buena soluci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica o un producto de calidad ya no es suficiente para sobresalir entre los competidores.  como objetivo de la presente tesis doctoral se ha pretendido profundizar en el estudio del dise\u00f1o y gesti\u00f3n de los canales de distribuci\u00f3n industriales. Los dos primeros cap\u00edtulos abordan una serie de aspectos te\u00f3ricos que sirven de marco para un estudio emp\u00edrico, recogido en el tercer cap\u00edtulo, centrado en la industria qu\u00edmica espa\u00f1ola y en la doble perspectiva de los fabricantes y los distribuidores.
