Ninguna de las etapas de fabricaci\u00f3n requiere instrumentaci\u00f3n sofisticada, consigui\u00e9ndose un elevado porcentaje de electrodos \u00fatiles. Se ha demostrado que los ultramicroelectrodos cil\u00edndricos de fibra de carbono de fabricaci\u00f3n propia son adecuados soportes para generar ultramicroelectrodos de mercurio en medios apr\u00f3ticos y que con estos electrodos pueden ser realizadas eficazmente medidas voltamperom\u00e9tricas \u00abin situ\u00bb.
