Epidermidis en patolog\u00eda ocular y la capacidad de este organismo para producir slime.  los resultados obtenidos demuestran que las cepas utilizadas, tanto productoras como no productoras de slime se adhieren a todos los tipos de lentes intraoculares y de contacto estudiadas, aunque, cuantitativamente la adherencia de la cepa productora es superior a la de la no productora. Las variables con influencia en la adherencia m\u00e1s importantes son el material, la ionicidad de superficie grado de hidrataci\u00f3n y homogeneidad de superficie, dependiente \u00e9ste \u00faltimo
