Una vez que establece las hip\u00f3tesis del modelo, de naturaleza estad\u00edstica, incide sobre el c\u00e1lculo del error del m\u00e9todo debido al n\u00famero f\u00ednito de rayos.  el trabajo se ha dividido en tres etapas, en una primera se realiza la revisi\u00f3n de los trabajos realizados en el campo, poniendo de manifiesto la carencia de una medida cuantitativa del error del m\u00e9todo de trazado de rayos.  terminando esta parte con la implementaci\u00f3n de un modelo n\u00famerico en forma de c\u00f3digo abierto para la experimentaci\u00f3n. En la segunda parte se establecen las bases te\u00f3ricas del m\u00e9todo asimil\u00e1ndolo a un m\u00e9todo de monte carlo, lo que permite el c\u00e1lculo de una varianza que en definitiva establece el error del m\u00e9todo por la discretizaci\u00f3n de los rayos. Este error se utiliza para el c\u00e1lculo de los m\u00e1rgenes de confianza de los par\u00e1metros objetivos y de las respuestas impulsivas. Por \u00faltimo en la tercera parte se aplican los resultados obtenidos a dos recintos de caracter\u00edsticas ac\u00fasticas diferentes, el \u00abterrero de santa ursula\u00bb y el \u00abauditorio de
