El hongo mineraliz\u00f3 y transform\u00f3 ligninas industriales, naturales y sint\u00e9ticas marcadas con 14 c.  cuando se incub\u00f3 durante 30 d\u00edas en presencia de 14 c-mwl de paja de trigo, se observ\u00f3 una mineralizaci\u00f3n del 33,7%, bajo condiciones de cultivo de alto contenido en n y c (c\/n 13). Los ensayos realizados para detectar las actividades enzim\u00e1ticas responsables, revelaron la presencia de una actividad lacasa y otra aril-alcohol oxidasa. Ambas fueron separadas mediante electroforesis en condiciones no-desnaturalizantes. La lacasa oxida fenoles metoxi-sustituidos diaminas y sustratos artificiales de lacasas en general, mientras que la aril-alcohol oxidasa present\u00f3 actividad frente a alcoholes arom\u00e1ticos primarios t- insaturados. Ambas actividades eran inducidas por xilano (1%) y alcohol benc\u00edlico (0,5 mm). Cuando los medios de cultivo conten\u00edan pectina (1%) se detect\u00f3 una actividad relacionada con radicales super\u00f3xido. Ello es importante porque las mayores tasas de mineralizaci\u00f3n se correspond\u00edan con esta actividad, no con las enzimas. Al contrario, cuando se induc\u00edan las enzimas, se observaba una polimerizaci\u00f3n significativa del sustrato.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
