La plantea nuevos m\u00e9todos para este an\u00e1lisis a trav\u00e9s de la cl\u00e1sica modelizaci\u00f3n mediante \u00e1rboles de fallo, utilizando \u00e1rboles y grafos dirigido ac\u00edclicos (redes bayesianas). Un tema importante en este campo es la estimaci\u00f3n de la probabilidad de fallo del sistema a tratar. Normalmente se han de estimar intervalos de confianza de alta o baja probabilidad de fallo (ya que los fallos pueden resultar desastrosos) y, por tanto, es necesario disponer de m\u00e9todos eficientes para la estimaci\u00f3n de las colas. Esta tesis describe nuevos m\u00e9todos eficientes para la simulaci\u00f3n y estimaci\u00f3n de las colas de estas distribuciones de probabilidad. En concreto se presentan los m\u00e9todos de no rechazo y de rechazo reducido, y la mejora del m\u00e9todo fpi \u00abfast probability integration\u00bb. La posterior comparaci\u00f3n de estos m\u00e9todos con los ya existentes en la literatura muestra una mejora considerable en diversos problemas pr\u00e1cticos
