Pombe dis2-11. En ausencia de tiamina se produce la sobrexpresi\u00f3n de los tres isotipos, puesta de manifiesto por western blot, con un incremento de actividad fosfatasa de entre 10-20 veces respecto a la cepa salvaje. La sobreexpresi\u00f3n de los tres isotipos produce el mismo efecto letal, las c\u00e9lulas se alargan y se observan alteraciones en la distribuci\u00f3n del dna y formaci\u00f3n del septo, indicativas de una mitosis y citoquinesis an\u00f3mala.  la sobre expresi\u00f3n de una versi\u00f3n truncada del isotipo dis2m2, al que le faltan 50 aa del extremo carboxilo terminal y que carece de actividad fosfatasa, reproduce el mismo fenotipo letal, indicando que este no se produce por un incremento de la actividad fosfatasa en la c\u00e9lula, sino que es debido a interacciones con otras prote\u00ednas de s. Pombe. Para identificar prote\u00ednasesenciales de s.  pombe capaces de revestir el efecto letal de las pp1 de mam\u00edfero, el integrante del isotipo dis2m3 se transform\u00f3 con una libreria de s. Pombe tambi\u00e9n se estudi\u00f3la localizaci\u00f3n subcelular de la pp1 fusionada a una prote\u00edna fluorescente, y la fluorescencia se localiza en una estructura citopl\u00e1smica polar que
