Dicho estudio comprende el an\u00e1lisis de correlaciones estructurales a trav\u00e9s de la influencia de la red (anisotrop\u00eda cristalina) sobre la estructura del complejo, as\u00ed como los efectos de presi\u00f3n qu\u00edmica (sustituci\u00f3n cati\u00f3nica) e hidrost\u00e1tica (t\u00e9cnicas de presi\u00f3n mediante celdas de diamante). A trav\u00e9s de los estudios de absorci\u00f3n \u00f3ptica bajo presi\u00f3n y variando la temperatura, se han puesto de manifiesto interesantes efectos piezocroicos y termocroicos en compuesto del tipo abx3 y a2bx4.  asimismo, merece la pena destacar la fuerte absorci\u00f3n observada en cristales de mn2+ impurificados con cu2+ que se han explicado en base a agregados mn &#8211; cu, acoplados por intercambios. Finalmente se ofrece un modelo que explica los desplazamientos hacia el rojo de la primera banda de transferencia de carga observados al aplicar presi\u00f3n
