Para ello se comenz\u00f3 inicialmente el an\u00e1lisis del proceso trabajando con \u00e1cido fosf\u00f3rico purificado al cual se le a\u00f1ad\u00eda sulfato de cadmio en concentraci\u00f3n definida y posteriormente se trabaj\u00f3 con \u00e1cido fosf\u00f3rico industrial cedido por la empresa fertiberia, s.A.  la viabilidad de la eliminaci\u00f3n de cadmio, cuando \u00e9ste es la \u00fanica impureza met\u00e1lica presente en el \u00e1cido fosf\u00f3rico ha sido demostrada utilizando una fase org\u00e1nica con cyanex 302 como extractante selectivo, ampliamente referenciado en la bibliograf\u00eda, y una fase de reextracci\u00f3n constituida por una disoluci\u00f3n de hcl 4 m.  para el desarrollo del proceso se utiliz\u00f3 un m\u00f3dulo de fibras huecas de polipropileno en la etapa de extracci\u00f3n y un m\u00f3dulo cer\u00e1mico tubular en la etapa de reextracci\u00f3n.  mediante la resoluci\u00f3n de los balances de materia se describi\u00f3 satisfactoriamente la separaci\u00f3n y concentraci\u00f3n de cadmio determinado el valor de los par\u00e1metros caracter\u00edstico: km=8,33&#215;10-8 m\/s, coeficiente de transporte en la membrana en el caso del m\u00f3dulo de fibras huecas, keq=6&#215;103 mol\/l2, la constante de equilibrio del proceso de extracci\u00f3n y kms=3,33&#215;10-8 m\/s, el coeficiente de transporte en la membrana en el m\u00f3dulo cer\u00e1mico.  cuando el proceso desarrollado fue aplicado al tratamiento de \u00e1cido fosf\u00f3rico industrial se observ\u00f3 que la presencia de cobre en el mismo desactivaba el agente extractante a trav\u00e9s de una reacci\u00f3n redox irreversible.  este hecho determin\u00f3 la necesidad de trabajar con otro compuesto que mantuviese su capacidad extractante con el tiempo,
