Desde estas premisas, se realiza una investigaci\u00f3n de las estrategias de aprendizaje de vocabulario de ingl\u00e9s que utilizan los estudiantes de secundaria. Posteriormente se llevan a cabo tres programas diferentes de aplicaci\u00f3n de estrategias de aprendizaje de vocabulario en el aula, con una total de 139 alumnos de 3 de secundaria, durante tres cursos consecutivos.  de estos tres programas, el que obtiene mejores resultados es aqu\u00e9l que combina las estrategias de asociaci\u00f3n\/elaboraci\u00f3n con la estrategia mnemot\u00e9cnica denominada \u00abpalabra llave\u00bb.
