El mn parece competir con el cd por los puntos de absorcion, al tiempo que el k mostro tendencias similares a las del no-3. Debido a la rapidez con que se observaron los efectos toxicos mencionados, la membrana plasmatica parece ser el punto donde primero se aprecia la accion del cd. Se altero la integridad de la membrana plasmatica de raiz de guisante, como se determino analizando su composicion lipidica. Asi, aumento el contenido de estigmasterol, a espensas de sitosterol, y el grado de insaturacion de los acidos grasos esterificados. Cuando la concentracion de cd fue excesiva, se aprecio la inhibicion de la actividad h+-atpasa. Ambos mecanismos explicarian la disminucion de la absorcion de nutrientes observada en presencia de cd.  tambien se propone un mecanismo de respuesta de la planta frente a cantidades moderadas de cd, mediante la sintesis de estigmasterol para mantener el equilibrio homeostatico de la celula vegetal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Influencia del
