Se dise\u00f1a un m\u00e9todo de s\u00edntesis de diisotiocianatos de 1,6-disac\u00e1ridos a trav\u00e9s de reacciones de glicosidaci\u00f3n usando sintones con grupos amino protegidos o latentes.  2. El 2,3,4,6-tetra-0-acetil-b-d-glucopiranosilisotiocianato puede reaccionar con enaminas y compuestos metilenactivos en medio b\u00e1sico para dar glicoconjugados. Estas reacciones abren camino para la preparaci\u00f3n de glicossiltioamidas, glicosiltioureas, n-nucle\u00f3sidos de diferentes heterociclos y glicosilaminotiofenos.  3. La reacci\u00f3n de isotiociantoaz\u00facares con aminoaz\u00facares constituye un m\u00e9todo para la s\u00edntesis estereoselectiva de nucle\u00f3sidos de hidroxiimidazolidina-2-tiona quirales. Los compuestos preparados son n-nucle\u00f3sidos y c-nucle\u00f3sidos ac\u00edclicos simult\u00e1neamente.  4. La reacci\u00f3n de un espirocetal de la psicosa con tmscn abre camino para la s\u00edntesis de nuevos isotiocianatoaz\u00facares, los cuales se pueden transformar en espironucle\u00f3sidos.  5. Se prepara un derivado de l-hidroxi-nor-valina empleando 2,3,4-tri-0-pivaloil-a-d- arabinopiranosilamina como inductor quiral (reacci\u00f3n de ugi).
