Para ello se recogieron en torno a diez mil art\u00edculos de prensa, tanto de la \u00e9poca como contempor\u00e1neos. No s\u00f3lo fue estudiado el contenido de dichas noticias, sino que fueron tambi\u00e9n valoradas y analizadas las propias fuentes: peri\u00f3dicos y revistas locales y nacionales, adem\u00e1s de algunos folletos, boletines y cat\u00e1logos; y la actuaci\u00f3n de los cr\u00edticos que para ellos escribieron; sin olvidar la labor ejercida como ilustradores por los mejores dibujantes locales del momento. Fueron los propios hallazgos hemerogr\u00e1ficos los que dictaron el contenido del trabajo.
