En la primera parte se estudian mediante diferentes tecnicas experimentales (calor especifico, susceptibilidad, magnetizaci\u00f3n y difusi\u00f3n inelastica de neutrodes) diferentes clusters magneticos basados en la quimica de los polioxometalatos. Para ello se ha desarrollado un nuevo modelo teorico y un programa computacional asociado que ha hecho posible la modelizaci\u00f3n de las diferentes propiedades magneticas.  haciendo uso de este modelo se han modelizado diferentes tipos de cadenas magn\u00e9ticas de interes actual como cadenas lineales con alternancia de interacciones ferro- y antiferromagneticas, cadenas ferrimagneticas de spines i\/2-2 y cadenas dobles triangulaes de spines 1.
