Los resultados experimentales demuestran que su no linealidad permite un aumento de la capacidad de discriminaci\u00f3n del proceso, cuando se compara con la correlaci\u00f3n lineal convencional. Bas\u00e1ndonos en que la cm se define en t\u00e9rminos de una descomposici\u00f3n en umbrales, definiremos nuevas correlaciones aplicando distintas descomposiciones. En concreto, hemos presentado una correlaci\u00f3n no lineal basada en una descomposici\u00f3n en bandas de alta y baja frecuencia. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que esta nueva correlaci\u00f3n presenta mejores capacidades de discriminaci\u00f3n cuando se compara con la cm convencional. La segunda correlaci\u00f3n no lineal que hemos introducido est\u00e1 basada en una descomposici\u00f3n inherente a todos los sistemas digitales: la descomposici\u00f3n en planos de bit. Con esta correlaci\u00f3n se consigue una reducci\u00f3n significativa de la complejidad del proceso y una alta capacidad de discriminaci\u00f3n en la detecci\u00f3n.  por completitud del trabajo, hemos extendido el estudio de la correlaci\u00f3n morfol\u00f3gica al reconocimiento \u00f3ptico con invariancia a distorsiones, en concreto rotaciones.  esta nueva correlaci\u00f3n disfruta tanto de la propiedad de la no linealidad de la correlaci\u00f3n morfol\u00f3gica como de la detecci\u00f3n con independencia de la rotaci\u00f3n de los objetos que se quiere
