A continuaci\u00f3n, se determin\u00f3 la localizaci\u00f3n subcelular de esta prote\u00edna en c.Albicans obteni\u00e9ndose que se localizaba en la superficie externa de la pared celular.  en esta situaci\u00f3n superficial la enzima era activa enzimaticamente y presentaba capacidad de adhesi\u00f3n a fibronectina y laminina.
