Los m\u00f3dulos principales son el m\u00f3dulo hidrodin\u00e1mico y el m\u00f3dulo de calidad de aguas.  este \u00faltimo constituye el modelo de eutrofizaci\u00f3n de aguas superficiales. Destaca en \u00e9l el an\u00e1lisis del comportamiento del f\u00f3sforo en el sistema, las interacciones entre la columna de agua y el sedimento y los procesos de anoxia que se dan en los sistemas naturales altamente eutrofizados. La aplicaci\u00f3n de sgicas a la albufera de Valencia ha permitido verificar la validez y utilidad del mismo. Se ha realizado una campa\u00f1a de muestreo de las aguas y sedimentos del lago, cuyos resultados han permitido obtener los valores de los coeficientes del modelo para el caso de la albufera.
