En los experimentos realizados en este trabajo, se demuestra que el no modula la contraccion que provoca el estimulo de las fibras nerviosas noradrenergicas perivasculares y que este no es liberado espontaneamente del endotelio en condiciones fisiologicas; tambien se liberara en aquellas condiciones patologicas inflamatorias y\/o infecciosas, del musculo liso de la pared vascular. Por ultimo, en este trabajo se demuestra la existencia de fibras nerviosas productoras de no que rodean las arterias cerebrales bovinas y que, tras su estimulacion, relajara el vaso aumentando el flujo sanguineo cerebral.
