En particular, la plataforma de trabajo empleada constituye una m\u00e1quina multiprocesadora basada en transputers. Para su programaci\u00f3n, se opt\u00f3 por el lenguaje occam, que se ajusta perfectamente a las especificaciones del modelo concurrente csp. Con todo esto, el paradigma paralelo se puede encuadrar en el de memoria distribuida con paso de mensajes s\u00edncrono. De las posibles paralelizaciones, se escogieron aquellas conducentes a un mayor acoplamiento entre procesos: capas, neuronas y pesos. Estas fueron aplicadas a redes como el perceptr\u00f3n multicapa (mlp) con una o varias capas ocultas, a un mapa autoorganizado de kohonen (som) con topolog\u00eda rectangular y a una arquitectura totalmente recurrente, cuyo algoritmo de aprendizaje responde al de retropropagaci\u00f3n en el tiempo.  los mejores resultados experimentales se obtuvieron con la paralelizaci\u00f3n por neuronas. Como otras aportaciones, cabe destacar el desarrollo de algoritmos de encaminamiento de mensajes a trav\u00e9s de una red anillo bidireccional. Asimismo, se ensay\u00f3 un montaje h\u00edbrido som+mlp para la mejora de las tasas de aciertos en la clasificaci\u00f3n de patrones est\u00e1ticos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de
