En un intento de incrementar la capacidad de transmisi\u00f3n de las actuales redes de comunicaciones, se ha estudiado y dise\u00f1ado varios dispositivos multiplexores por divisi\u00f3n en longitud de onda usando la teoria de interferencia multimodal.  dichos multiplexores se pueden considerar formados por tres etapas, un divisor 1xn, una etapa desfasadora y un combinador nxn, donde n es el n\u00famero de salidas del dispositivo. La clave est\u00e1 en que las se\u00f1ales a la entrada del combinador deben cumplir una condici\u00f3n en cuanto a diferencia de fase entre ellas para conseguir interferencia constructiva entre las mismas y as\u00ed obtener la se\u00f1al en una sola salida. La tarea para la etapa desfasadora es trasladar las diferencias de fase presentes a la salida del divisor, para cada longitud de onda a las referenciadas condiciones del combinador.  de esa forma, diferentes longitudes de onda se encaminan a diferentes salidas con lo que se consigue un multiplexor por divisi\u00f3n en longitud de onda.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
