Es bien sabido que las propiedades de estos materiales son radicalmente diferentes a las observadas en s\u00f3lidos cristalinos, en ese rango de temperatura. El objetivo de este trabajo es, por un lado, exponer de una forma unificada los resultados experimentales y te\u00f3ricos encontrados en este campo desde su descubrimiento, en 1971, hasta nuestros d\u00edas, y por otro, presentar los resultados obtenidos durante el desarrollo del trabajo doctoral sobre las citadas propiedades.
